Barton Springs, for all of you soon to be Austinites, is the best Austin swimmin’ hole and the perfect place to cool off when this Austin summer starts to slowly melt your brain. Three acres big and fed entirely from underground springs, the Barton is also 68 degrees year round- cold in the winter, but per-fecto in the summer months. The springs attract a ton of people from all walks of Austin life, so while you get your tan on be sure to people watch and get a real taste of what Austin is all about.
